This screensaver takes the statement "Time runs fast!" very literally. It shows an animated scene featuring an old-fashioned alarm clock which runs quickly as time goes by. The clock runs through a country landscape, gets tired, sits down and continues running. Also, it shows the actual hour on its face, as well as numerically on the lower right corner of the screen. It also features a nice music background.
You can set up several of the program's functions, like the video mode, the method for exiting the screensaver and the clock format (24- or 12-hour). Also, you can choose to show or hide the numerical clock.
Although it can sound as a good idea, it gets boring after a while. Also, after one minute running, the trial version of the program shows a "nag screen" requiring you to purchase the full version. Another one weird feature is that, when installing, it asks you to install the AstroGemini Toolbar, as if this were a free screensaver, which is not. You can decline the suggestion, though, and still install the trial version. Nevertheless, all these downsides may exceed the program's advantages.
